Who We Are

Antonio Ciaccia

President

Born and raised in pharmacy, Antonio has been crawling around pharmacies his entire life. After three years as a pharmacy technician and two years of pre-pharmacy curriculum, Antonio diverted course, graduating from The Ohio State University in 2007 with dual degrees in communications and political science before moving into the world of association management.

Thinking that pharmacy would be in his rear-view mirror forever, he ended up making his way back to his pharmacy home, heading up government affairs for the Ohio Pharmacists Association, a trade organization with a strong track record of advocating for drug pricing transparency. After years of studying the pharmacy marketplace, Antonio became increasingly perplexed and concerned as he saw drug costs spiking while payouts to pharmacies were declining.

Knowing something was being lost somewhere in the middle of an ever-growing transaction, Antonio has spent years working to crack the drug pricing code and pull the rug out from what he believes is one of the most dysfunctional marketplaces in the world.

Ben Link

Vice President of Pharmacy

Ben has wanted to be a pharmacist since he was in 7th grade. Over the course of his 20+ year career in pharmacy, Ben has experienced the practice from the point of view of a patient, pharmacy technician, intern, pharmacist, assistant pharmacy manager, clinical pharmacist and clinical account manager. Ben has worked with small and mid-sized employer groups, professional organizations, Medicaid programs, workers’ compensation insurers and re-insurers, and Third Party Administrators (TPAs).

While employed within pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) Ben recognized a need for change within the pharmacy supply chain. Ben joined 3 Axis Advisors to connect pharmacy claims data to people equally committed to getting the healthcare transaction right. Ben’s knowledge includes data analysis, database management, clinical evidence evaluation, healthcare policy and project management.

Ben received his degree as a Doctor of Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University with a minor in Spanish Language.

Matt Wine

Senior Analyst

Matt received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the West Virginia School of Pharmacy in 2006. Upon graduation, he served as an adjunct professor of pharmacology at Wheeling Jesuit University, and returned to his hometown in West Virginia where he assisted his father with operating his independent community pharmacy. While practicing at his family pharmacy, he was able to grow the practice, expand clinical service offerings, and within five years opened a second location inside of a medical clinic. This experience gave him first-hand exposure to the complicated nature of the prescription drug transaction and the opaque supply chain contracting mechanisms that enable arbitrage and waste. His passion for small business led him to pursue his Master in Business Administration (MBA) from South University with a focus on small business operation and entrepreneurship.

He previously was a business coach and account manager at Pharmacy Development Services (PDS), where he assisted independent pharmacy owners to better understand and scale their business through consulting and professional training, as well as navigate the complex world of drug manufacturers, wholesalers, pharmacy service administrative organizations (PSAOs), and pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs).
